My First Time
Written by WishBoNe on December 17, 2007 – 6:53 amBuying a computer for the first time can be daunting for some people as they may not know everything about computers. You can avoid the common mistakes once you know what they are. Examples like paying with a credit card, buying that cheap computer without realising that it doesn’t come with a monitor or buying the marvelous hardware while the software may not run on it.
Once you have your spanking new computer, you have to break it in. You want to be sure that it will work smoothly for years to come. Technology runs too fast these days but you won’t want to be buying a new set every 6 months, do you? This technique is called a burn-in test.
After using for some time, Windows users know that the OS doesn’t seem to load as fast as before. So, what can you do? You do a few fixes like removing drivers that are no longer used. Looks like I ought to start some spring cleaning on mine too.
Do you have any more tips on how to improve the performance?

Written by WishBoNe on December 6, 2007 – 9:30 amApparently, you’ll need a Wiitalier if you want to buy a Wii. Wii is so hot that Sony is unable to churn out enough sets to let consumers buy them. Wow. ABC News provides you the steps in how to get that set of Wii under your Christmas trees in less than 3 weeks.
However, do note that it’s applicable to the United States where Sunday is their best buying time. So, what’s our best buying time?
