After more than a day, I finally decided to join My Brute. Seriously, I am really surprised at the cute avatars that are available for selection. 3 fights are currently available daily. I’m not so sure about whether they will increase the number of fights as you level up.

I do know that you can create clans once you have reached level 10. Each fight in the arena is rather random wins, I think. In addition, your statistics is also randomly assigned. Once you forget to set your password, you won’t be able to set it when you go in next time. So, set your password before you close the browser or move away from the page. You can only do it the first time.

The fights are animated, so you won’t need to do much clicking except fight or return to your cell after that. Some of the things you can gain from the arena are weapons, vitality and potions. Looks nice at this moment. My Brute certainly looks fun for me right now.

There is a daily tournament too. I wonder what are the prizes for winning though.

I have a net worth of $340, 000, 000 including cash of $102, 000, 000. I would love it even more if those were real money instead of the Facebook game called Be a Tycoon. Who wouldn’t, right? It’s quite addictive at first as you do get fast turnover rates for the lower valued items such as race horse, Caviar, winery and hot air balloon company.

As time goes by, I noticed that some of the items have a minimum and a maximum value before you can either buy or sell. I did a quick rise in the ranks as I did the trading every 20 minutes. That’s the waiting time for the rates to be refreshed.

I have noticed the following changes for the consumer items.

Caviar Farm

Minimum at $2, 000, 000 and maximum at $4, 000, 000.

Brewery

Minimum at $2, 000, 000 and maximum at $5, 000, 000.

Winery

Minimum at $3, 000, 000 and maximum at $5, 000, 000.

Designer Clothing Brand

Minimum at $49, 000, 000 and maximum at $70, 000, 000.

Wedding Dress Brand

Minimum at $59, 000, 000 and maximum at $130, 000, 000.

I notice them because the changes were rather obvious during my intial stages of playing. For Designer and Wedding, they are estimates as the changes have been noted at different times.

This is utterly out of the blue since I like to look for online games. It means I don’t have to pay a cent except for the electric bills. SP Powers is very happy whenever they bill me.

Games Being Played

The Treasure Ocean – Basically you have to collect the items being show on the top screen. Watch out for electric eels and jelly fishes and maybe more.

Phantom Mansion series – Collecting the keys, skulls and more in the mansions, what else?

Now Boarding – You know own an airport and this game tests your time management skills.

Samantha Swift and The Hidden Rose of Athena – I like that it’s quite interactive and no time limit. I’m seriously considering buying the whole set.

Cooking Dash – Quite a frantic game since the clicking gets more with each level up.

Fashion Solitaire – There’s no time limit for this either. Another game that is being considered for purchase.

Governor of Poker – I totally failed to win all the houses in the first town but you might do better.

Bratz Babyz Fish Tankz – I have no patience for this but it’s a good time waster if any.

Word Sailing – Each word you type, you get to move. Longer words let your boat sail further.

This list should keep you entertained for a while. Now, I’m thinking if there will be any sponsors for the games I’m looking at

The internet provide a source for wasting time. My time spent online is nothing to be proud of, it’s definitely more than 24 hours per week. During my search for entertaining myself when I need a break from routine, I have the favourite site that often link to strange weird point and click games at times, Lazy Laces.

I got myself an impromptu slot to attend the event at Samsung in Vivocity. All thanks to DK and Rinaz who both helped to extend the invitation to me

It’s Samsung’s first blogger event and I must say, I was impressed because there was free food like, pizza, salad, drinks and my favourite, Ruffles chips! After the dinner, Daniel from Samsung started off the event formally. Next up was the quick overview of Samsung Innov8 and its functions. I love the 8 mega-pixels, smile and blink detection. These features for capturing beautiful smiles and all opened eyes are not available in most cameras. I know even my beloved Canon S5 IS doesn’t have them either. Shucks!

The event was fun as I got to know that Rinaz had a great concept for the inspiration and she won the phone. I think it was a little bit weird that all 3 winners were girls. How come I didn’t win? I also girl!

I hope to be able to attend more of the events by Samsung and get chances to trial run the gadgets. I have Omnia, so I qualify! (Shameless self-promotion).

On a side note, I was really honoured that Nadnut (who also won the Innov8) lent me her Pinky for photo taking. Unfortunately, I was printing the photos and there really wasn’t enough time for more photoshoots after that.

IT administrators have been frustrated by the crashing of servers at the most critical period; during maintenance and the server just refuses to boot up smoothly. Sometimes, you just feel like bashing up the servers and get it over with.

At other times you stand in the cold server room trying to figure out for 2 hours what causes the crash and when the eureka moment arrived, you realised that it was due to an unforeseen bug in the system. These incidents can only be felt by other administrators who have encountered the same problems before.
