There is Hope for Mobile
I was lamenting about the lack of useful devices that I wanted to replace my S4. However, there is the Oppo R7 Plus, iPhone 6S Plus and Samsung Note 5 that are relatively new for this year. There is also the currently-available-only-in-China Xiaomi Note Pro that I really like a lot.
I started looking at mobile plans that contain more data in the plan since I don’t make a lot of phone calls. So, Singtel has this EasyPlan that allows the Singtel customer to tweak the plan on how much data, SMS/MMS and phone calls they are going to use. A cool feature. Just recently, M1 launched mySIM plan that does similar things. Except, M1 just gives more data for the 12 months contract. The downside to M1 mySIM plan is that the phones that are associated with the plans are all not my kind of mobile phones. I’m not sure what is the rationale behind this plan.
After using Note 3, I have this thing for mobile phones that don’t strain my eyes on tiny words. I think the main reason why iPhones had never attracted me until 6 Plus came along. Thus, I have more options to consider with the current launches.
