MyBlogLog Avatar Uploaded, Finally

Written by WishBoNe on September 30, 2007 – 9:33 pm

After all the trouble I thought it was with Vista, it wasn’t. It was the conversion of the GIF file to PNG and JPG that had problems. MyBlogLog has my updated avatar again. I ought to have a check on my head soon. Sometimes, I’m just too anxious to accuse certain things. I must be losing my mind.

Anyone wants to earn US$75.01? It’s easy, just link to Ryan444123.com and the post where this link bait contest is being held, you get a chance to win this amount and a 500 words review. Cool. I hope I’m number 4 for this :D

I did a quick run through of the site and noticed that someone had the cheek to steal the van of a mentally retarded girl. That evil thief!

I Would Love the Pink Tee Bear

Written by WishBoNe on September 25, 2007 – 11:32 pm

My friends think I look good in pink. So, here’s a bear that’s dressed in pink that I wish to have. This contest is organised by Pink Internet Marketing. It’s going to be flying in all the way from Canada too!

Pink Internet Marketing This bear shall be mine!

As the name of the blog suggests, it touches on social bookmarking, something that I touched on a little previously. Here’s a something on the advantages and disadvantages of Web 2.0 that I haven’t considered. Perhaps the idea of having social bookmarking for spammers should be seriously considered for implementation so that I don’t have to clear my spam folders so often. For more internet marketing information, go check these links out.

I like the clean look of the site in overall. It may be covered in the shade of pink that’s not my favourite but hey, it works well because of it’s clean design.

MyBlogLog Avatar Uploading Problems

Written by WishBoNe on September 22, 2007 – 9:03 am

Anyone using MyBlogLog knows that Yahoo! has merged with it and we are using Yahoo! IDs to login. I have successfully merged mine and thank god, it was mine. I was having a trying time just to upload my avatar. For the past 10 hours, I haven’t been able to upload my avatar. It accepts only .png, .jpeg and .jpg. I have all of them but it refuses to upload.

The error given in Firefox was “Sorry, there was a momentary error.” or something to that effect. Ok, I tried using IE7 thinking that it may not be compatible. It threw me an error that they only accept PNG, JPEG and JPG file formats. WTH? What is wrong with it? Unless the programming only accepts CAPITALISED file name extensions or something is seriously wrong with their image upload functions.

This is not the first time I’ve tried to upload image images to MyBlogLog. The other time I tried to upload for my blog community, it kept showing me my avatar link. Someone please fix the problem. I don’t like the grey smiley.

Email Account, Lost!

Written by WishBoNe on September 17, 2007 – 9:10 pm

I have been posting win something posts all these while. It looks kind of lonely here. My email account was deleted. After I sent an email on why my email was lost. Interesting and I didn’t know until I tried to login. I have been having problems trying to send an attachment since last week and after an email to the support, the account simply disappeared. Great. I don’t have the address I want to send the email to.

I’ve been using Mail2World for quite some time and I love the unlimited mailbox size. Unfortunately, hiccups were bound to happen. Maybe I should have just tried to send the email to the requestor instead of to the support and got my account lost.
