I Read: Business Opportunities Weblog
Written by WishBoNe on August 22, 2007 – 6:37 amFrom my feeds, I present here something that is related to business. Dane Carlson’s Business Opportunities Weblog. I have mentioned before that he’s one of the bloggers whom I admire.
He introduces a wide variety of business that have taken off or flopped. The flopped businesses tells us how not to make things go wrong which is a good thing because success cannot come without failure.
Now, there are times when he provides advice on how to conduct your business, namely, meeting up with customers or potential partners. Take a look at some of my favourite posts.
- Online Image Cleaner - Employers are able searching online using Google or Facebook on potential employees. By paying Reputation Defender, they are able to search password protected sites and provide a report on the findings. Somehow, this makes me wonder what happens to privacy issues. Or maybe we have placed our names online, no privacy is to be respected?
- Tips for Better Meetings in a Public Place - Insurance agents often do that. This is a guest post.
- If Money was Not an Obstacle - Every business needs money as a capital. Even when it’s a web-based, you need to pay for a domain that relates to your domain name. Another guest post.
- 7 Tips for Everyday Inventors - Keyword here is keep that day job.
- You just tip and it pours into your glass - Invention that allows you to pour from the fridge without lugging the 2 gallon of bottle that is just fresh from the supermarket.
- Teen making millions selling water - Every bottle sold will contribute 10 cents to charities. It’s not just bottled water, it’s water that’s supposed to help people sleep.
Do you know of any entrepreneurs who have overcome their mistakes? What about those who give out tips on making that business work?
