But I Need to MSN!
Written by WishBoNe on June 6, 2007 – 2:02 pm
Overheard by a colleague.
7-year-old son: Mummy, when are we going overseas?
Mum: Next week.
Son: Can bring Daddy’s laptop along?
Mum: Why?
Son: So I can MSN.
Mum: But we are going overseas to enjoy, not to MSN.
Son: I want to MSN my friends! I need to chat with them!
Mum: We won’t bring Daddy’s laptop.
Son: Then I stay with Grandma.
Gosh, he’s only 7 or 8 and already is adept in using MSN and chatting. What are the kids learning in school or from their friends these days?

at least the kid knows how to type
@smakula
When I was his age, there was the typewriter. I didn’t know how to type. I guess with the exposure in this age, kids are starting to know how to type at an early age.
my friend’s kids (she is 4) knows how to install windows on the computer!!! and me (Im 20) – I don’t know how to do that. the kid knows some English (native is Ukrainian) and she is able to type in both languages
@smakula
Really?! Amazing. I took some time to learn how to install Windows.
I would need to learn that too. cuz comparing to that kid I feel kinda stupid.
