Blogs with long posts that don’t mean anything seems to be rampant on WordPress these days. This goes to show that WordPress is starting to gain popularity with people with ill intent to spam. Blogspot used to be used for splogs in the past. I noticed that some blogs have been setup recently with posts promoting sites with ads all over the page.
These blogs have been setup purely to promote meaningless sites that may contain trojans and viruses. By reporting such blogs, would it help to reduce such splogs?
