No IP Phone
Written by WishBoNe on January 22, 2007 – 4:54 pmI’m the only one in the office without an IP phone. I’m not sure if it’s exactly a big deal now. The only deal is that there’s no caller ID. So, I’m still subjected to mysterious callers until they have identified themselves. I feel odd in this way.
I went through a round of briefing on how to use the new IP phone. I like the fact that we can call the direct line of the person who is in Indonesia without incurring the cost of IDD calls. Cool. However, the setup is still going on right now and I still don’t have an IP phone because there’s no network point for me. They haven’t setup one for me which I believe partly is due to the fact that we will be moving to another place this year. Which I really don’t know which month we will be moving to and where.
I like the fact that we can install the software and log off from the actual phone. Luckily, the lines will not be directed to my private mobile number because of the cost. So, the management will get those because they do have a lot of phone calls. Maybe I like it because of caller IDs. ![]()
I wonder when I will receive it.
