Spam Comments

Written by WishBoNe on December 30, 2006 – 8:23 am

Now, there’s nothing remotely related to advice on how to attract women here. I found this on my spam comment.

I wan women

Sorry, I can’t help you with women and neither can I help you with weight loss. Excercise and good diet habits should be enforced.

It’s interesting how it evolved from email spambots to blog spambots. I really wonder how these people actually can write the codes to be able to spam blogs and build spamblogs. It gives Blogger and AOL bad names. The links display a page with lots of truly gibberish. I hope there wasn’t any downloads in the background. Darn! Shouldn’t have clicked them! :(

    Hi,
I published the first winner of the ‘it takes a computer to really screw things up contest today.’ I don’t publish a name until they give permission to use their name! So, Colleen was anonymous until she told me she wanted me to link to her site and her name used.

I’ll make a list as you suggested. Great idea!

oh, my blog spam is terrible too. It is a letdown to get so much blog spam comments and few real comments. Thanks for your insight. I appreciate it.

It’s a pity alright. We can’t stop them but we can only try to prevent them from flooding our blogs.
