Free For Use
Written by WishBoNe on December 20, 2006 – 4:51 pmIt is such a pleasure to know that there are free software out there for us to download and use. I love this list that Business Opportunities Weblog has kindly compiled and linked to the respective software. There’s even a free anti-virus download introduced! Gosh, I didn’t know that!
As a Wordpress blogger, I prefer to use Firefox because the display so much nicely placed. I tried using IE and it looks totally “urgh!”. I don’t know why but perhaps it has to something to do with the layouts being designed and the coding(?)
Now, the GanttPV is rather handy at this moment because it so happens that I have a need for it
I’ve tried GIMPShop before but unfortunately I can’t grasp the right click menu. Maybe I’m quite used to using Photoshop at work. I’ve even tried Picasa but it’s not that good, I feel.
Simple Dollar introduces KeePass which secures and manages the mirade of passwords that we have. Hmm, I think I should download it and try it out one fine day. It sounds like what I need. There’s also the introduction of Notepad2 that has more features than the Notepad that comes with Windows. No immediate need for it since I have Microsoft Office. It might come in handy later. The cool fact is that it’s free and or open. So, feel free to test them out. I’m sure they have their uses, if not, they won’t be there for downloading, right?
